And CSM becoming obscure is just what is already happening even before the story actually ends, and is something that affects even those threads, the discussion is rancid and there's no hope for a good story in most posters, most good posters notably have already called it quits long ago.
People will cope for a while if Mappa manages to unfuck the anime, but that only lasts until the actually good content, which is Part 1, ends.

But ultimately it depends on how it'll be done, there are still mysteries pertaining Asa's character and her relationship with Yoru that'll likely get addressed soon enough.

CSM was kind of a lightning in a bottle. It also had many, well defined characters plus a very good storyline.
CSM part 2 feels as if the mangaka felt like the story was already done and wanted to do something different, but the pressure from his fans and publisher eventually had him make Part 2, while at the same time, trying to make something different. So, it's CSM but not really when compared to the original run. The Four Horsemen was an interesting premise that became bogged down with, what I feel is, excessive fanservice, while he thinks where to take the story next. Denji was always a coomer, but Part 2 ignores his entire character growth across the original run and we're back at the beginning where Denji will do anything for copping a feel.
