It's unfortunate that Keisuke Seshimo supposedly won't be the animation producer for season 2 anymore. He'll be boarding the Honkai Star Rail movie made by Mappa next. The Chinese money must have been fucking massive. I don't think this will affect the quality of the 2nd season too much, though. The director and staff already have abundant connections, so they'll be able to pull a lot of talent even without Seshimo.

Well, it is what it is, still, even now, I believe this is all Crappa's fault. If they'd just given us our full 28-episode adaptation of part 1, à la Frieren, everything would have been different. But Crappa betrayed me and made me look like a fool in the process. We could be 2 months away from the start of season 3 right now. Just think about that; it would change everything.
