What are the chances that this wording will be important in the future? We already saw Asa losing her will to live in Falling and Yoru vanished completely.

It would make sense for Yoru's mistreatment of Asa to be her downfall, we already know Asa tethers on the edge, "her attachment to life is weak" as Falling herself put it. We've known for quite a while that Denji is currently Asa's only reason to live by their whole "crapburger" speech, so if she loses him to Yoru weaponizing him or if he choses Yoru over her she could go suicidal again and reclaim her body.

What makes this truly interesting is the fact that Asa is completely immortal now, so she could very well be trapped desiring for death but being unable to die, it could even become her motivation to find a way to kill herself. Asa is one heartbreak away from being in an Agni situation, especially if the whole world tries to kill her given how Yoru made enemies of PS and possibly much more.

Even though he was Yoshida, he had a lot of potential, Fujimoto just had to make a new trio like in part 1, Yoshida helping Asa and Denji with their problems and being a friend, it was so simple, advising and helping Denji with his hypersexuality, helping Asa with Yoru, and in the process developing Yoshida with both, This would make Denji and Asa mature faster, Any character from Part 1 could fill that role, I don't know if Fujimoto didn't do this so that Denji and Asa mature on their own. Hello. I'm just going to get this out of the way and say that I can no longer continue writing Dear Makima, or any of my other works within this fandom for that matter. I won’t say with certainty that I will never pick back up these stories, but for the time being; I'm done.


My interest in Chainsaw Man has been waning over the past half a year, and with this latest batch of chapters I can definitively say that the world of Chainsaw Man, along with its characters, is one I have no interest in exhuming further. It has gotten to the point that even the parts of the manga I used to hold highly and enjoy, have been retroactively ruined by recent decisions made within the story. What do you mean by "outsourced"? As I mentioned before, the important creative decisions are made by Mappa employees or freelancers hired by Mappa. Key Animators, Layouts, Storyboarders, Animation Directors (tasked to fix messy or off-model character designs), Character Designers, Music Composers, Sound Designers, Color Designers, Art Directors, Animation Porducer, CGI, and Directors of Photography are mostly Japanese and associated with Studio Mappa.

The only thing being outsourced is the in-between animation, which is standard in anime production to save money and time. Even then, the Animation Directors at Mappa will still have to fix messy or off-model animation done by outsourced Korean, South Asian, and Chinese in-betweeners.
