It wouldn't be completely out of the blue but so far it feels she's mostly been established as a sort of "eldest sister" type personality.
It's almost starting to seem like Fujimoto intends to establish a full family experience for Denji out of the Horsemen, Makima being the mother figure, Nayuta the little sister, Yoru a girlfriend, and Death as the older sister.
