It's obvious he thought of the ending right off the bat with the cake and chapter name spoilers.

The mess that is part 2 is because he thought of something so kino to end with but just didn't know how to get there, so he thought he would just fill it all in with The Big Lebowski. These last 20 chapters or so are testament to that as they're really getting good, it's just such a shame that he could have condensed the middle 100 chapters into like 30.

Take Nayuta for example, she served zero purpose to the plot and was basically just filler content. Look at the story now and ask what she had to do with any of it? Even if Control pulls an ass pull come back, that could have happened without wasting time on the whole reincarnation babysitting that happened for years. Don't get me wrong, Nayuta was a good character, and it was looking like she was helping Denji mature, being a female he had to raise, protect, and take care of; but ultimately she died like nothing and he forgot about her in a few chapters, having no impact on the plot whatsoever.

That would be nice, What part 2 lacks is having the perspective of other characters and world building, all the events may be the same, but another point of view radically changes the experience.
