So you know how Aging arc started with Asa trying to hold hands with Denji, only for him to aggressively yell at her and pull his hand away from hers? Yeah, and then Aging arc ended with her holding hands with Yoshida for a whole chapter, with a special fairy-tale zoom-in emphasizing their hands holding during the bear story, and each panel showing her hand being more relaxed inside his own by going from a grip to an opened palm with intertwined fingers. Yeah, Asa just wanted that small human touch.

Now come this arc, Asa tries to kill herself, and what does Denji do? Tries to kill her even harder by busting her skull with a chair. Missed opportunity if I've ever seen one. How will this arc end? Same way as the last one, Yoshida succeeds in establishing the human touch that Denji failed at. Asa tries to kill herself again, only for Yoshida to grab her and hug her tightly in his big manly chest. The empathy and intimacy she needed but never got from SCUMji.
