It was the first horseman encountered, the most feared figure in the world, and even after it's demise it simply returned in a new form. Conquest has the most relevancy to the verse of any devil period with only War via Yoru being anywhere near the same equivalency. You can dislike the Conquest characters and be objective about this kind of thing.
