Here's what needs to happen for the manga to improve:

1. Denji chops Asa up with his good friend Miri then cooks her legs into a fine dish for his mistress Shi-chan. While they're busy eating Yoshida saves what's left of Asa and they skedaddle.
2.Denji puts his penis inside Death's gaping hole, only to pull out and realize it's gone. Erased for eternity. He pulls the starter but even that doesn't rejuvenate his pecker. He now has to live without a penis for the rest of his days.
3. He tracks down Asa and Yoshida, sees them fuck, is seething and gets turned into a weapon because his butthurt counted as a victory for Asa/Yoru and Yoshida. It was the last piece of victory they needed to weaponize him - complete romantic defeat.
4. After he's turned into a weapon, Death decides it would be extremely funny if she saved him, so she separates Denji from Pochita via asspull - Denji gets to live while Pochita remains a weapon. Denji's dick is still gone and now he doesn't have Pochita anymore either.
5. He is now living on the streets, dickless, mortal, pochitaless, homeless, nayutaless, dogless, yoruless, you name it. He sees Yoshida and Asa living a happy life together, the life he once had with Nayuta and Powy. He blames them for his losses and decides to kill their cat Crambon Jr.
6. Asa shows a chainsaw up his ass, killing him In front of everyone during the School Festival. He is displayed without a dick to his fans and dies like a turd.
7. He comes back later during the peak of the apocalypse, only to die in an instant to Blood devil.
8. He is seen living as a human tree 3000 years in the future, and decides that once he turns back into a human he'll change his ways, be a better person, protect his family, etcetera. Just as he's thinking this, Control devil shows up with a chainsaw and cuts him down. She uses his body as firewood in her cute little cabin she shares with Pochita.

Denji's only motivation right now is Asa, he has nothing else in his life or some goal other than have meaningless sex. Yet despite this he shows 0 urgency towards saving her, it really doesn't feel like Denji cares about her that much.
Asa's character has been stagnant since the first time Falling appeared, she's done absolutely nothing relevant other than lending her body to Yoru and jerking off Denji both literally and figuratively.
Yoru now just devolved into a Brainless Makima clone without the emotional connection to Pochita or anything beyond wanting to empower herself.
Moreover she went from A over the top representation of war that made Asta a parallel to Denji at the start of part 1 to a mother figure that loves her children but is willing to sacrifice them for her own goals, and now turns out none of that matters she is an America fan girl.
