Was in residency at the time in Philly (thankfully Hahnemann had closed before COVID so I was outside the city. I still remember Bernie coming out and thinking "This motherfucker is turning pink" during his speech. He then had a heart attack like three weeks later.)
Anyway, my brother was doing interviews in Texas. Flies out of DFW which always has a massive amount of Chinks when I've been there to come stay with me and my roommates for interviews in Philly and is like seriously ill with a respiratory disease for no good reason in Dec/Jan of 2019/2020. Way before they diagnosed someone officially on January 20, 2020 in like Washington.
One of my co-residents had her dad unexpectedly become ill, get ICU'd and put on a ventilator in like October of 2019 and she believes he likely died of COVID back then.
