There's some amount of cannibalization that indies have on similar indies , this thread has failed the Bechdel test within 1 post.
Also 2 of those you mention rely on the fact that the original is badly maintained by their owners. If there was a new actual Castlevania, comments sections would pit that against Bloodstained in seconds.
