The truth is that Highcom had a shitload of overrun aluminum oxide strike faces from some other contract in 2022. They backed them in 2024 with a relatively weak fiberglass backer and made them into the "4SAS4" - the contract overrun thing is fiction. The plates were freshly made in November 2024 and onward. People were getting plates with manufacture dates weeks or even just days prior to when they ordered. Gear queers and redditors alike got plates that failed the tap and torque tests, had rips in the covers, water damaged labels, were packaged with virtually no padding - all the while reddit shills were yelling they were 0101.04 plates and were never meant to handle drops.
>Because Ukraine would really want fragile-ass plates in a warzone, right.
Several vendors alleged the 4SAS4 was just the 4SAS7 rebranded for the Ukraine contract, but the weights are totally off and the 4SAS7 performs a lot better. Still only 0101.04 though.
>Highcom did advertise the 4SAS4 to 0101.06, see pic related.
Tacticalshit sold more than 8,000 of these fuckers in two months. I guarantee you there are more than 12,000 of these shits out there, adding the other vendors and whatever Highcom / Chase sold directly.
