Leading off with a strawman argument is a bad look. All of these components intertwined and, what's more important, there's a clear hierarchy involved too with the actual military component being at the bottom.

Are you talking about killing Houthi fighters or murdering Houthi civilians? How do you draw the line between the two?
Also the US tried to do both (pic rel), but it turns out that genocide is only a winning strategy if you commit to it 100% like Russia.
