Bleach has always been about style. The author has always been about style. His characters have always been stylist. There has never been a time when either haven't been about style. People who can't understand Bleach also don't understand style. You can't look at a Bleach chapter and go "Yep, naruto vs pain, Bugs Bunny, 3D Pixar movies, tictok dancing time" because style doesn't require much effort other than looking cool.

To put it simply, they lack style and therefore ugly.
