The minos hate isn't really core to their ideology. Sure, most of them despise non-septimals and even enjoy killing them, but their main belief has always been that adepts should be happy and free (and it just so happens that minos tend to be the ones oppressing and killing them). So while many of them may agree with Demerzel's minos policies, they would conflict on his ruthless authoritarianism against adepts.
