They have done Lumine dirty too, she's not featured in any of the promo materials or trailers. Everything from the in-game hint system to events is nothing but Aether; the worst looking male protagonist I have ever seen in any videogame. It's almost as if they regret even letting players pick Lumine, then seeing her popularity, they now leave her out just in spite.
But if we go by just MC relevance to the actual plot then sure, genshin wins since the MC actually has a personal agenda in the story.
