I just do not see it, as a kid when I was almost raped I just got up and brushed it off. If I was raped I would not spend my life thinking about it.
What's wrong with your kids? Is it because you keep telling everyone that it is the worst thing that can ever happen to someone? Do they pick up on that and fixate? I did not live a normal childhood of being instilled with paranoia and worry about special places and what everyone thinks if those special places are touched. If you planned more carefully and gave kids hope that this was not the end of the world, maybe more would bounce back.

I just do not know, maybe I never will.

It seems the problems arise when the kids reach adulthood and are told they are a victim of the worst kind of abuse; they then believe that and start to feel abnormal for not worrying, so they obsess.

Society half builds the issue.

Parents are half the problem.
