I tell them all the time I don't want new slop. Unreliable. Constantly breaks even when new. Overpriced. I own my car, and while I could go get another, there isn't a need. This thing runs just fine despite it's numerous small issues. Plus I tell 'em I keep it because it pisses 'you' off that I'm still driving it. People are afraid to park next to me as if I'll ding their shit. Yet if I drive a nicer car, they seem to go out of their way to fuck my nice stuff up. So fuck 'em. And if none of that works, I simply ask;

"You wanna foot the car note? No? Thought so."
