Stay with me for a minute. A lot of comics in the 90s were inserting rape randomly in a bid to look "serious" and it comes off as poor in taste or retarded. Beunos existence is absurd his super power is he can teleport behind anyone and rape them? Why does this need to exist in a cape comic? Because thats the point why does rape need to exist in a comic to begin with its absurd to insert something like that to be taken seriously. You also see Ennis use this in The Boys when Starlight first starts out a vought exec tells her she needs to background has sexual assault to look "serious"
