The government should provide free and subsidized services for low income citizens and those unable to work (because of an injury, physical disability, or those seeking but unable to find a job who need to relocate but can’t because of the costs of doing so)

This shouldn’t be a massive program, but enough of a bottom line that paid capital has to compete with it. Free doctors, cheap at-cost housing, simple but cheap internet, phones with cheap limited plans, etc. Without an enforced bottom capitalism gives way invariably to monopolism and price gouging.
