While I love Brock from the anime, I hate that they lost that part of his character. He should have been an amateur fossil hunter, not a Pokemon breeder. He should have been our walking encyclopedia of extinct Pokémon, with episodes focused on fossils and other Pokémon with prehistoric traits like Tyranitar, Mamoswinne, Relichant, and Primeape.
