Yes it's real unless you're whitelisted in which case you don't get the debuff, big streamers and youtubers etc are whitelisted so they think it's conspiracy theory because they aren't affected by it.
And before anyone says it's just shit apex servers, why are servers perfect as fuck at the start, then go to shit but it doesn't go to shit for others on the same server even when they are in the same area?
No it's not complicated to mess with the magic bullet affix, it's literally just a value assigned to each player when they get matchmade.
