You're right! Discord wasted perfectly good Golly meat. She should be unpetrified right now so we can shove her hooves-first into a meat grinder on the slow setting. Her screams can be recorded and then autotuned to fit the Equestrian National Anthem, and her intestines can be used for the sausage casing. Discord probably doesn't need to eat, but I bet she'd taste great and her meat bringing him joy would serve more of a purpose and do more good than she ever did in life.
