Have you ever seen such shit writing and direction that you thought you could have done a better job? That's how I feel with most of Blizzard's shit now.
I feel like if I was in charge, I would have done something more like
>None of the chosen one or "Overmind was a good guy" shit
>Instead, it's revealed that the Zerg will attempt to regrow an Overmind if the Overmind is ever killed, and after getting to be the Queen Bitch of the Universe for a bit, finds herself rapidly losing control over the Zerg to a newborn Overmind until she is only able to control one or two broods, where she then basically plays the role of the wildcard Zerg element. She has her own agenda, and at the top of the list is trying to find some permanent solution to remaining independent and not being controlled by the Overmind again. In other words, I wouldn't get rid of Kerrigan, but I don't think her motivations are compelling enough for her to be at the center of the plot. She got her spotlight in Brood War.
>We could still do the three races theme, but instead of it literally being that you only get to play one race, it's based on who the bad guy is. You get to play the bad guy in Blizzard RTS. So, each installment is about fighting a new bad guy. One is the newborn Overmind, one is maybe a full-scale Earth invasion, and one is some kind of evil Protoss faction. Maybe that's where Amon could come in, but instead of being Space Sargeras, his plot with the evil Protoss could involve wanting to "Childhood's End" the entire setting. So, basically the Tal'darim, but not stupid, since a "Childhood's End" scenario could be seen as the full ascension of the Khala.
>Raynor isn't in love with Kerrigan and he still wants to get revenge on her, but they may have to work together a few times on a "enemy of my enemy" basis.
>Once again, no fantasy shit. No prophesies, no chosen ones, no space angels, no having not died, nor will I, but that's a tale for another time. Psionics is as magical as things get
