In Essos:
>Victarion puts down the revolt in Meereen and sacrifices all of Hizdahr's and the besieger's leaders (including Hizdahr himself) as a blood sacrifice to make the dragonhorn his own.
>Barristan tries to stop him, but he is defeated and forced to blow the horn for Victarion
>Barristan dies and Viserion becomes enthralled, but not to Victarion, to Euron. The sacrifice did not work and the horn had not changed masters after all.
>Viserion flies away to Westeros, the first dragon to be seen atop it for centuries, named after Viserys the Exiled Prince.
>Dany returns to Meereen with a bunch of Dothraki, atop Drogon, like a Khal coming to conquer
>She battles Victarion and kills him.
>She burns Ben Plumm and intimidates the Second Sons to serve her
>Meereen is left as nothing but rubble and unburied dead, from the pale mare, the revolts, the sacrifice and lastly Dany and Vick's battle.
>She has had enough and starts westbound with Missandei, Tyrion, Penny, Jorah (in secret), Moqorro, the Unsullied, two dragons, the Dothraki, the rest of the remaining mercenary groups, including the Second Sons
>She is already half-mad (she already was in her last chapter, talking to rocks and grasses and laughing at pain.)
>She hears of fAegon's invasion and it pisses her off more
>As she appears near Volantis, the slaves there revolt and ask for her help overthrowing the masters
>She burns the city, killing masters alongside their slaves. Simultaneously punishing the slavers and freeing the slaves, by way of death. Then continues West as if nothing had happened, cutting the Essosi knot
>She becomes increasingly unhinged, so Daario nopes out and leaves, making her even more crazy
>The mercenary groups she has essentially enslaved with fear slowly slip away whenever they are able, which pisses her off even more and she brutally murders any she catches

In Westeros:
>fAegon's invasion is making great progress with all of the Stormlands coming under his control
>He marries Arianne, and thus Dorne becomes an active participant in the new war for the throne.
>Cersei is increasingly unstable, thinking Tyrion is inside the walls and had just killed Kevan the same way he killed Tywin
>She plots as the Tyrells rule through Tommen
>fAegon naively reaches out to Euron for an alliance against the crown. Joncon is livid.
>Euron agrees to it (he's bluffing)
>Joncon wants to move on King's Landing quickly in order to take the city and install fAegon as king before he is consumed by grayscale, but fAegon and others see it more strategic to take control of the Reach and cut off the Tyrell grain to the city first. Joncon reluctantly agrees to it.
>Joncon accidentally starts spreading grayscale amongst his men. With his body becoming more and more consumed, it becomes hard to avoid all contact
>Greyscale devastates the Golden Company, a twisted mockery of the skull hardened in molten gold that is their symbol, instead being petrified in stone.
