at this point, what point is there for Trump to negotiate anything with Iran if he is powerless to bring peace ?

if I were Iran I would assume that Trump is acting as some sortof distraction while Israel was mounting a crippling attack, because that is what looks like what just happened... Trump distracting them with peacetalks, keeping them off guard then out of no-where Israel assassinates their whole leadership with precision smartbombs,and then does like 10 tier waves of strikes on munitions and war facilities, and all this after sabotaging their missile defense systems...

and then Israel claims it is a "pre-emptive strike" while Trump said just this morning that Iran is close to a peace deal.

I dont think peace is an option Iran can take seriously once it considers that for 1, Trump is powerless to provide peace if netanyahu does not respect Trump,and 2, this whole good-cop bad-cop act between Trump and Netanyahu looks like circle talk and who can really say if the squabbling between netanyahu and trump isnt fabricated at this point...

to claim that trump skirting around and talking peace with Iran didnt disable their readiness with israel would be hard to say... i mean, that big strike was a sneak attack,and Trump pretty much had them dropping their guard and thinking peace would be negotiated within days...

I dont have any reservations one way or another and thh, it doesnt feel any diff than last time with the exception of USA implicating they are not involved, and standing down..
