I feel you, anon. The pic is from a documentary about my country. The worst part is undoubtedly the widespread ignorance and laziness. On every level of society, in every interaction, day after day, the entropy is almost palpable. After a while, you just stop caring because nothing works and no one has any interest in fixing it. People here are like water; they will always follow the path of least resistance, even if it leads to a stagnant pool. Culture, governance, and religion all inevitably bow to the blind idiot god of apathy. Even Satan falls to sloth here. At least if we had pride, someone might have done something by now. Sometimes the frustration reaches a boiling point, and I wish I could do something, anything. But in the end, futility raises her hand, and I can only obey and retire in silence. It's a sad reality when failure seems as natural as gravity
