It mostly happened in middle school/high school, she calls me handsome only now when complimenting my looks. She did call me handsome too back then, but at times she would do that on the drive home. A couple of people thought I was gay since I didn't have a GF at the time, and told a girl who told everyone we were dating to fuck off since I hated her. She didn't do anything more than that and I had to correct her at times. She was more stressed back then than now which could have impacted her short term memory.
