I still think it's pretty crazy that we had to wait almost a whole year for festival tracks to have expanded use just outside of the gamemode itself. Either Epic are that incompetent or they legit thought that people would not care about it. I'm glad they eventually got dragged into doing it because at the start 500vb's per song was absolutely NOT worth it. But it begs the question, festival is popular and certain artists do attract a lot of customers but how the fuck does the licensing agreements actually *work*? It's not like the artist or production company get a percentage of vbucks for each sale. I only ask because there's no way festival can be self sustaining in the long run because licensing big name artists is kind of...expensive, like really expensive. Which is why I liked it more when Epic just settled on smaller indies more often.
