Dominique Wilkins had Multiple Seasons where he averaged 30, and this guy is barely talked about or remembered. I think it will be similar for curry albeit slightly better because of the rings, but also slightly worse because of the narratives (system player, bus rider, hospital ring etc.)
Ill be so surprised if im wrong, but my intuition tells me Ill be right. Curry will actually be closer to Kobe actually in being unappreciated, because he'll have more defenders, but I expect to see curry downplayed more actually. Even if Kobe gets bus rider accusations, he doesnt get "system player" accusations. EVERYBODY calls his teams trash, but people pretend the golden state warriors were actually always totally good and curry just lucked into a franchise that would win anyway because of the system.
