you get better at drawing low res sprites, by just doing a lot of 8x8 and then doing a lot of 16x16 sprites.

You don't learn to make 32x32 sprites by complaining and trying to make HD sprites.

Just do a lot of 8x8 and then 16x16 sprites as practice.
