I've not really been enjoying the story in a long time, basically the neps patch. the words words words while saying nothing wasn't that bad at launch, I remember thinking how much better it was than what I remembered of genshin years ago, but I feel like it's gotten worse over time. it's definitely worse in the event stories now. I have to force myself to do the story and events in the last couple of days before they/limited rewards leave
definitely doesn't help that p5x came out and gave a game where the characters are animated in order to sure them doing things, rather than fading to black and giving you a paragraph of text
I basically only enjoy the combat at this point. it was fun forcing myself to get to floor 100 once they finally showed the limited tower was going away, and I always enjoy the brief bit of time it takes to clear shiyu and da
I'm really not sure what they would need to do to make me enjoy the game again. I still need to finish 1.7 and then quickly do 2.0, so maybe it'll be wuxiakino and it'll hook me again
