Alright after looking at poe.ninja I've decided Pathfinder is the way to go. Soulrend, Tides of Time belt, and Replica Sorrow of the Divine should sustain and spend your ES quite nicely so you can spend and get many uses out of your staff. Plus I've never actually played a Pathfinder so it should be new and therefore fun.
