Finished pic related as well or rather I guess I dropped it(glad I read it on kakuyomu) unlike Reitetsu Ouji, 屍王の帰還 was a disappointment and I was unpleasantly surprised by how low quality it was in terms of of storytelling, plot development, and characters. It crammed in countless elements without properly developing any of them.

Everything you'd expect is technically there, but the execution falls flat. Series like Kagejitsu, Overlord, and others handle similar themes much much better.
