>Most dungeons introduce new party members by showing their "true self" as well as how they overcome their insecurities, skipping a lot of the initial introduction and going right into what they're about deep down
>Way more group hang out events, especially in P4G
>Stakes are lower (at least from the outset) and the characters have limited means of pursuing their goals, so you have a lot more scenes of them having to band together to find out what their next step is
>Small town atmosphere, so most characters know each other already to an extent and all go to the same school (ignoring Teddie)
>Atmosphere is more lighthearted which allows for more slice-of-life goofball moments

P3 admittedly has an excuse because a lot of the game, thematically, is about characters coming to terms with really rough moments/circumstances in their life. That, and the characters aren't really friends, at least not at the start. They're just put together by the Kirijo Group because they have potential, so you have them naturally butting heads. Which I think makes for some great character moments, but you definitely don't get a buddy-buddy feel from the group. P5 has no real excuse. Stakes are often higher, but the game just likes to sideline characters hard once new ones come in and neuter a lot of moments of bonding. See the fireworks festival. Why that was literally rained on I don't get. Not to mention how so many social links aren't about the person themselves, but someone in their life that highlights aspects of what they're going through. See Makoto as a burning example of all of these issues. She comes into the story, basically takes up 90% of the scenes, makes it where Ryuji and Ann turn into dumbasses comparatively, and her social link is focused on a random NPC girl.

I wouldn't say the P4 cast are truly all friends, but the atmosphere and more frequent group hangouts/meetings to figure things out definitely makes them feel more together compared to the other games.

Nah. I'm 31 going on 32 soon, still love games, still excited about new releases. Just beat Deltarune Chapter 3, going to finish Chapter 4 this weekend, then play Death Stranding 2 if it's decent. Also been replaying SMT Nocturne, but with the Maniax DLC since Atlus were fucking idiots and didn't include it automatically, so I wasted 10 hours before realizing.

If you get fatigued, play better games, stop playing slop, or just take a break. It's not the industry or your age, it's just you.
