Archar Perletrader is a Bokken Jedi, traveling the galaxy trying to do good during the reign of the Empire. He's earnest, optimistic, idealistic to a fault and tries to see the good in people, even when it’s hidden under layers of trauma or cynicism—especially in his best friend, and possible love interest, Thalia.

Despite the life he leads and the company he keeps, he struggles with the moral weight of violence, often trying to talk opponents down or avoid lethal force even during fights.

He has almost no means of connecting the dogma of the Jedi Order; he's more concerned with the idealism of the Jedi. Every teacher and influence he's had in the Force has been at least one step removed from the Jedi, if not part of a separate Force tradition completely. Academics, Jensaarai, Sith, Imperial Hand(s), a former Republic pilot, a Hutt fanboy, etc...

The campaign ended earlier this year, but as a character he was a blast to play. I put away all of my edgy inclinations and just tried my best to be a good, heroic guy. The rest of my play group is awesome, so they definitely contributed to the fun, too. But, damn, it was great to just get out there and try to save the day.
