I think only yuros have the encephalitis ticks, and not the entirety of Europe. I don't think there are encephalitis ticks in North America, but we got a fuckton more Lyme I believe. But I recently learned Europe has Lyme too. Rule of thumb seems to be - the more western (European or North American), the less ticks fuck your shit up in general. But that's just a rule of thumb, always gotta watch out.
