The Bethesda Game (and I use this in a general term going all the way back to Morrowind because in some fashion it's always been the same game) is impossible to balance

Every single installment goes from occasionally pointlessly hard to braindead easy with nothing in between

I can think of nearly zero confrontations in a Bethesda game that are challenging but not tedious, just give you something enjoyable to chew on for a moment
