Yeah, it would not surprise me if a lot of the stuff in the official Joytoy photos is 3d-printed. If you look at the tower in >>11460922 it looks like it was made from several blocks that didn't quite come together smoothly, leaving an odd seam line that the paint doesn't quite hide. The floor plates would also have been ideal for printing, if they didn't come from a Battle for the Stars 1/18 playsets.
If you have access to a 3D-printer there's lots of Warhammer style scenery out there, you just have to scale up to the size you need it. If you want to have a go at making DIY terrain objects there's quite a lot of good tutorials on Youtube, and the old GW "How to Make Wargames Terrain" books are still fantastic resources
