The recap also added information we didn't know since for example lupa didn't have full memories until then, and again there is no interruption there, it's just an option you got after the story is already over. The fractsidus one was the setup for the next story, and included many stuff that was never mentioned before like the villains motivations, julia involvement and reasoning and what happened to the real mya. And lupa's intro was so short and most of it was her just asserting herself that she wasn't alone, talking how good it feel to share the podium.

But you still had to pick the optional one after the story to pad your list of supposed times it "reexplained everything".
