What's the point of going to the gym specifically?
So far I've only been doing pull up and push up variations and have managed to build a decent upper body. Now I'm implementing leg and core exercises too.
This makes me think how pointless gyms are when I can just use the local calisthenics park as well as some basic home equipment.
From what I've heard every gym is filled with tiktok zoomers, roid rats, immigrants and half naked women. Why would I want to go there?
Am I missing out on big gains if I only focus on calisthenics?
