This has always been my problem with canadian urban planning. Drive around anywhere and you see these useless fucking medians on every road, every building had worthless grass lawns, and even small buildings occupy such a disproportionate amount of empty land surrounding it.

In the small town I'm in you can't fucking walk anywhere. Between every building is half a football field of space filed with pathetic trees with all the branches cut off, dead grass, and gravel.

If you cut out the wasted space the town, moved every building closer, it wouldn't even be half as wide as it is.
