I have a gaymen ASUS TUF FX505DT with 2080ti mobile I run Ryzen Controller on to thermally limit it to 75*C. It only takes a small performance hit barely noticeable and my laptop doesn't fry eggs anymore.

I'm sure that exists for newer stuff too.
