It's an occult film. I can't completely articulate a full, well-reasoned exposition on my intuition, but I've picked up on occult symbols, such as:
Four teletubbies, representing the four traditional elements in alchemy (earth, air, fire, water).
The two alphas; the first one that sort-of looks like Jesus is Messiah Ben-Joseph in Rabbinical Judaism. The second one that is named 'Samson' is Messiah Ben-David. Rabbinical and Kabbalistic Jews believe that Jesus, the false messiah in their view, paved the way for Messiah Ben-David by destroying idolatry in gentile nations, making them worship the Jewish god, YHWH, as God.
The doctor either represents Esau or an alchemist that has completed the Great Work (since fire is the final stage towards the Philosopher's Stone).
The killing of the Swedish soldier by Samson represents the eradication of White European masculinity.
I'm tired and I want to sleep. I'll leave this here as well: the director, Dan Boyle, says he is a "spiritual atheist." Basically, what I'm alluding to is that Dan Boyle is an occultist and a Luciferian. I'll have to rewatch the film and ponder on the themes more to formulate a coherent system for how all the occult elements fit together, and which to discard if they do not mesh well with the others.
