I think it'd be unique since this is a sort of two halves situation.
Both bosses working together and representing their own halves.
One being a representation of a PC's brain (since the PC is the focal point of one half) and another being the most prized book of the novel area (in my brother's case, a book on roman history).
Came up with these two in the process.
I thought the gold flake shaped things on a CPU kind of reminded me of eyes.
While for the other I had the idea of like the metal part of the end of a pencil being like a crown with the head being a snapped off pencil end piece, with the head feather being a book mark and wielding a white-out pen as a weapon. Also being unable to walk and thus having a horse themed book-end as a steed to take them everywhere.
