Will anything seriously bad ever happen at this point in time or will it only be in flashbacks?
Everytime someone is in danger, like falling, or getting hurt, you can just assume 99% of the time they'll be fine in the next page.

Overlord is one of those shows/books that are on the verge of greatness but are stopped just short.

The first few books should stay the same, but once you start to love the characters, they need to add a few more players/guilds. Have some real stakes, deaths, etc., after you've grown attatched to the characters.

Imagine a full battle between two massive guilds. You could have an entire season about this. The armies clashing with the NPCs fighting amongst their troops while the Players duke it out.

Entire nations rolled over.

Pure fucking kino. Dragons picking sides, etc.
