Germany is preparing to order 1000 Leo 2s and 2500 GTK Boxers with the program planned to cost 25 billion dollars
this would put the average Per Unit cost of an Armored vehicle in this program at 7.1 Million dollars
considering a singular Leo 2a8 costs 30 Million dollars and a GTK Boxer 3 Million dollars this would be way above the 25 billion dollar mark if all added up especially with the Leo 2 order alone being around 30 Billion dollars and the GTK Boxer order around 7.5 billion dollars in total bringing it up to 37.5 billion dollars if using the publicly available price tag
How is germany planning to fit this all into 25 billion dollars?
is it all just mass production pushing the price tag that far down?
