Q1. What impressed you when you received the monthly award?
≥I was a university student at the time, and I remember fighting the fear of job hunting while drawing. The award-winning work was to be published in an additional issue of the magazine, but I remember that I had to redraw all the pages because the drawing was so dirty. I recently learned that I had met Mr. Watanabe of "Ginka & Glüna" at the award ceremony.

Q2. What would you like to say to new artists who are aiming to win the Shinsegae Manga Award?
≥Looking back, I was really lucky in many ways to win the award, but it certainly gave me confidence for the rest of my life. Even if your manuscript is not so good, they will read it. I think there is no harm in sending it in anyway!
