the problem with square is not having their games turnbased or anything, but from the very start, squaresoft was kind of shit

from their very first game to their very first RPG, all Squaresoft knows is to copy other popular games or make flashy games with very shallow gameplay

they got lucky with Final Fantasy that it was mechanically better than DQ1, but ever since then, they have been huffing their own farts. now that all the people that made Square popular are gone, all they can make is shit RPGs
