Hey guys. I posted this like 3 months ago but have been busy with other projects, now going back to this issue.
I accidentally scratched my crank removing the rear main seal.
I spent like an hour with 2k grit sandpaper taking the scratch down. Pic is what I'm left with.
While doing that I found another scratch that was put of sight the whole time. Ugh. No idea where that one came from. Pic in 2nd post.
How smooth do I need to polish this off so that's the rear main won't leak?
Completely or good enough?
I'm gonna go buy a Dremel and some polishing tips. I will also go back in by hand with a 1k sand paper.
Can I get some recommendations on what to use with the Dremel
