Rinse, pull out the little magnetic spinner, rinse that, and wipe the (large and convenient) pitcher out with a sponge. ~1 min. Or be lazy and just run another cycle with soapy water. If you don't let milk foam sit and dry you're not really going to have to scrub it. Their heating program is pretty spot on. Minimal scalding.
